Report for 723 Open Conversation – July 23rd, 2013 7pm PST – Topic: The Global Cooperative Forum
Our first global open conversation about the Global Cooperative Forum had 11 attendees, including Theo Cedar Jones, Michael LaTorra, Lorraine James, Baptist Davison, John Andrews, Marcus Keith, Laura Greene, and 4 anonymous attendees.
We began with the Universal World Prayer, and then Theo gave a brief history of 723 activism up until now, beginning with his “prior unity wedding” to Bunnybunns in 2008, followed by public events held in California on July 23rd, and December 21st for “Light in Everybody”, in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
We next discussed the “Protocols of Communication” – How can we preserve anonymity for those who wish to remain anonymous during the Open Conversations (global webinars). Discussed the fact that these meetings are recorded for the public record. Theo expressed desire that meetings for the Global Cooperative Forum be fully transparent. We will not disclose the names of people who participate who wish to remain anonymous.
Then we introduced the following topic: What are the practical steps needed right now to create the Global Cooperative Forum?
The steps required include the following:
- Get the book Not-Two Is Peace to the largest number of people possible.
-Host continual global webinars to build critical mass of people passionate about Not-Two Is Peace.
-Invite everybody to make the new social contract. (Lorraine read from “Something New must emerge”, p.308 from Not-Two Is Peace.) Theo gave the following example of a new social contract – “My name is Theo Cedar Jones, and I affirm Prior Unity; I have read Not-Two Is Peace, and I am committed to serving in the Global Cooperative Forum”, and invited everyone to video themselves offering their new social contract, uploading it to youtube, and sharing the link with everybody-all-at-once. Please send us your links to your new social contract to [email protected].
- Request Adi Da’s Notes about the Initial Council – Theo will formally request Notes about Initial Council from RSO.
- Recruit Initial Council from the critical mass of participants in the global webinars, and other outreach.
- Request clarification from QSR about devotee participation in the Global Cooperative Forum.
- After Initial Council begins, Initial Council formally convenes the Global Cooperative Forum.

Theo mentions Paul Hawken’s book Blessed Unrest, as an example of how there are more progressive organizations in the world right now than there have ever been, and that these organizations are who we should approach about Not-Two Is Peace and participation in the global open conversations.
